Sebaiknya saat memasak garam dimasukkan kapan ya kak?
Ada yang bilang dimasukkan pas akhir saja karwna nanti beracun, ada yang bilang diawal agar sayuran tetap segar saat dimasak. Jadi yang benar yang mana ya kak?

Garam adalah kumpulan dari zat mineral. Proses memasak tidak mengurangi kadar mineral dalam makanan dengan jumlah yang besar. Kalaupun berkurang, jumlahnya pun tidak terlalu banyak.
Memasak dengan garam tidak akan  mengubah mineral yg terkandung menjadi racun. Seperti yang sudah diulas sebelumnya, kandungan garam adalah mineral. Mineral ini tidak berubah menjadi racun atau zat berbahaya selama garam tersebut memang dibuat dengan bahan yang aman.
Paul Breslin, seorang profesor dari Departemen Ilmu Gizi Rutgers University mengatakan bahwa untuk memasak, sebaiknya bubuhkan garam sedikit pada awal masak, kemudian masukkan lagi nanti pada akhir proses memasak. Namun, sebaiknya dalam penambahan garam secukupnya saja.
