_Berdasarkan uji penelitian di laboratorium, ekstrak umbi keladi tikus terlihat mampu menghambat pertumbuhan sel kanker payudara. Ekstrak keladi tikus diketahui mengandung flavonoid, terpenoid, tanin, dan sterol yang bersifat antioksidan, antikanker, dan antiradang.
Selain itu, ada pula penelitian lain yang menyebutkan bahwa ekstrak keladi tikus mampu menghambat pertumbuhan sel kanker hati dan kanker darah (leukemia).
Kendati sudah ditemukan beberapa bukti bahwa keladi tikus bermanfaat dalam pengobatan kanker, tetapi efektivitas dan keamanannya pada manusia masih butuh diteliti lebih lanjut. Hal ini karena belum adanya studi klinis yang meneliti manfaat keladi tikus sebagai obat kanker pada manusia.
Oleh karena itu, tidak dianjurkan menggunakan keladi tikus maupun Daun sirsak untuk mengobati kanker tanpa anjuran dan pengawasan dokter.
